Hi there. I'm typing this because I know of a Kickstarter Project in need of support that I thought might be of interest to people like you.
A Team of people located in Edinburgh in the United Kingdom are currently trying to build a fleet of aquatic robots whose function is to travel across damaged coral reefs and transplant healthy pieces of coral into them. These robots are known as "Coral-Bots". The fleet of Coral-Bots is almost complete. All that is required is for the robots to be fitted with "eyes" that can allow them to see the healthy coral, and arms with which they can transplant the coral.
The project needs $107,000.00 in order to be funded, and it needs to reach its goal by May 27th at 6:13 AM EDT. As of this post, they currently have $29,159.00. I decided to help the project along by seeking out people I think would be interested in helping fund it. If you would like to see the project, here is a link to the Kickstarter page.
By the way, I apologize if I seemed weird by just up and showing you this just completely out of the blue. Again, just trying to get some support for this project. Sure, I could just post a journal entry about it or something, but I don't think the people I want to reach would see it. Still, sorry if I seemed weird by doing this.
That said, let me know what you think of this project once you see the link, if you would like to that is. I also hope you consider funding this project.
